Sherry Cask Malt

Biscuity, buttery, fragrant and fruity as always, the 2019 release of our Sherry Cask Malt is a perfect entry level single malt, a textbook introduction to the wonderfully delicate aromas of the Highlands. With a subtly winey influence, the sherry casks add a touch of nuttiness to the fruity and flowery nature of the distillate: apricots, peaches, a hint of sultana raisins and a touch of honey, robust in flavour and body but still easy to drink and never too ponderous. A perfectly balanced single malt, striking the fine balance between delicate nuances and lively spiciness, between fresh aromas of spring and the warmth of autumn, between the fragrant character of the malt and the rich winey touch from the oak.
