At Wilson & Morgan, we care only for the quality of the content and not for age statements on the bottle, but only a very long maturation could bring such a soft character and mouthcoating feel to this stunning Bunnahabhain.
Never tired or with the excess of tannins too often typical of very old whiskies, it still manages to be vibrant, sweet, youthful and fresh: nose and palate are rich on tropical fruits (banana, mango, passion fruit) and ripe oranges, with a perfect balance between honey sweetness, a firm mineral character and a slightly dry and peppery finish. Propolis, beeswax, aniseed and just a soft touch of oak complete the flavour palette. One of the most refined, luscious, subtle and creamy malts we have ever bottled.
