Invergordon 30yo

A very aromatic grain whisky, which offers an unusually rich and fragrant nose of aromatic herbs: rosemary, thyme, heather, wild mountain flowers and a touch of mint. At the palate it retains the same fragrant herbal note, but very soon it is followed by a buttery richness of candied oranges and limes, clean but very rounded fruity. It’s a particularly gentle grain whisky, with a refreshing mint background. The sherry cask yields no evident winey note, just a touch of oak and tannins.
