From our love of heavily peated whiskies, but also of the fruity ones, comes this bottling of an unusually very smoky Ardmore. The fruity Speyside style is felt in the clean notes of pears and apples of the distillate, and it provides a fine background to the explosive level of peat smoke. If it weren’t for the elegantly fruity touch, this might well be a powerful Islay malt! Fully enjoyable and mature in spite of its young age – and probably even more powerful and stormy thanks to it!
